Break the Fast

Temple Israel will not be offering a formal break-the-fast this year. A few snacks will be offered at the close of services.

Annual High Holiday Food Drive - Erev Yom Kippur

On Erev Yom Kippur, we will dedicate our annual food collection to Seacoast Family Promise.

SFP is a neighbor helping neighbor organization for families with children experiencing homelessness. Please consider filling a bag (or two!) to help. Non-perishable items only may be left in the Sanctuary Lobby (State Street) between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Due to Covid 19, congregants can choose to send a check to: SFP – 27 Hampton Rd, Exeter, NH 03833. Please include Temple Israel Member in the memo line of the check.

Items requested:

  • Canned tuna
  • Individually wrapped snacks such as cookies, Cheese-its, Fig Newtons, fruit gummies, Goldfish, etc.
  • Boxed mac & cheese
  • Pancake Syrup and/or Pancake Mix
  • Special K cereal and/or Honey Nut Cheerios
  • Coffee filters
  • Liquid dish soap
  • Liquid laundry detergent: Please no pods
