Temple Israel is a “beit midrash,” a house of learning, offering Jewish education to learners of all ages since 1905.

Temple Israel provides a wide variety of contemporary, educational offerings including our Early Learning Center Preschool, Youth Education Program (the Religious School) as well as ongoing classes and courses in Hebrew and Yiddish language, Torah study, Rabbinic literature,  history, current affairs and Judaic arts. Rabba Kaya Stern-Kaufman teaches many of our classes and leads a dedicated team of enthusiastic teachers and administrators offering a variety of exciting adult learning opportunities.
