Hanukkah begins the evening of Dec. 7


We plan to light candles at the temple on seven of the eight nights of Hanukkah.

Please join us to usher in the light, together. Latke-Palooza community celebration begins at 4:00 pm on Sunday, 12/10.

Schedule of events:

• Thursday, 12/7, 5:30 pm – 1st night – sponsored by Sisterhood, House Comm. – courtyard, followed by snacks and songs with Fran Berman in the Shmooze
• Friday, 12/8, 3:45 pm – 2nd night – for preschoolers and others with Rabba Kaya courtyard
• Saturday, 12/9 –3rd night — no TI candle lighting
• Sunday 12/10, 4-6pm – 4th night – temple Hanukkah party with latkes, dreidels – social hall (with group lighting of hanukkiot after dark)
• Monday, 12/11, 5:30pm – 5th night – sponsored by Tikkun Olam Committee – courtyard
• Tuesday, 12/12, 5:30pm – 6th night –sponsored by Israel Affairs Committee, courtyard, followed by cookie decorating in the Shmooze, minyan in the chapel.
• Wednesday, 12/13, 6:00pm – 7th night – Hebrew School students and teachers, families – courtyard, followed by snacks, games
• Thursday, 12/14, 5:30pm – 8th night – interfaith event with RK and We Sing Interfaith Chorus – courtyard followed by donuts & cider/coffee in the Shmooze
