From Route 95, headed to or from Maine and the high level bridge:

Take EXIT 7 - Market St. Extension. Follow Market Street towards the center of Portsmouth and the shopping area. You will pass the Sheraton Hotel on the right. Market Street ends in Market Square. You'll see the landmark North Church with the tall white steeple. At the Square, turn right onto Congress Street and get into the left lane near the church. Take the first street left (Fleet Street) at the lights. Continue through the next lights on State Street to the stop sign on Court Street. Turn left on Court Street and you'll see the fire station on your right. Go across the next intersection (stop sign) at Pleasant Street. In the first block on your left you will see the rear entrance of Temple Israel and parking lot. The rear door is across from 300 Court Street (a big gray building) and the Inn at Strawbery Banke. You may park at the rear or the side of the building.
